Just Thinking Out Loud: Diaries, TouchDesigner & Screen Recordings

I’m not certain about the best approach for this diary entry.
I’m considering two options at the moment:

1. Loosely sharing my thoughts and processes. This might result in some articles that are not particularly interesting or valuable.
2. Writing an article only when I have something worth showing.

Perhaps it’s too early to get lost in a question like this, and I should just continue as I feel.

Two weeks ago I had the honour to do 5 days of live visuals in Munich for tunnel.visions.

I reprogrammed my whole VJ setup on Touchdesigner. Now I can import external Touchdesigner patches and control their custom parameters right in the mixer.

The mixer was delivered by TouchDesigner and I added a morph functionality to it.

I also added some easy plug and play functionality for LFOs etc. and a master channel which allows modifications on the final output.

I soon plan to release this and include some video documentation. (My first video tutorial, yay)

I think that I will use Descript to do the tutorial. It is a great software to create videos, podcasts and screen-recordings.

In our web-development studio 100k we just started using this software and Armin made a video for LayTheme where he talks about 4 websites which every designer should see.

Excited to test it.
