Last Week's Creative Chronicle: Content Creation Highlights
A recap of the creative journey and content milestones from the past week
Dear friends,
Thank you for following my journey.
Last week went by so fast so I try to recap:

Building a community
The numbers on my socials accounts are slowly growing. With already 850 followers on Instagram I am confident that I will reach my goal of 1000 followers until the end of this month. I did put advertisement on two videos to lure people to my profile and it works quite well. It’s nice to get messages from those people and exchange ideas and maybe start collaborations.
Also on YouTube my followers are growing. People seem to enjoy the three tutorials which I already put up. They get constantly views.
I need a better microphone. After having a long phonetically with Nirto Karten Fisher from Nsonics I decided that I will opt for the RØDE NT1 5 Generation. It has a pretty good sound quality and can be connected to the computer also via USB. That makes it easy for screenrecordings or podcasts.
I am still torn between the platform Substack and Medium. On Medium my articles get random views which is nice. But I am not building a strong connection to my followers. With Substack I send people nay articles as newsletters to their emails. That’s oldschool. But the advantage is that even if one of my accounts gets blocked, I can continue being connected to my followers. My brain tells me that this is the right way to go. But I would feel weird sending out newsletters. It feels so intrusive. I think I give it a shot anyway.
Visuals
I did not find too much time this week to generate new visuals with Touchdesigner. But tonight I will go to Berlin Atonal and will return home with a head full of inspiration and awe.
Artificial Intelligence
StableDiffusion has some new features which I was testing the last week. There is a simple animation tool which creates an uncontrollable short animation from a still image. I think this might be the Software with the app RunwayML is using. It’s cool, but I feel that Deforum offers much more freedom about controlling the video until now.
I am also preparing myself to give workshops about AI. First to friends and other creatives. Then to Studios and companies. More about this soon.
Webdevelopment
Soon our new 100k website will launch. I need to wrap up all the videos of websites which I screenrecorded. Also I need to put them I to smaller videos and reels for social media. I hate doing this. But maybe that’s the wrong attitude.
As I mentioned before we plan to get in contact with Prismic CMS to start a collaboration. It would be great if our starter-kit would be available for download on their website.
Producing a new movie
I got invited to stay in Bangkok for some time and do a research about ghosts in Thailand. Thai culture has a lot of stories about spirits and ghosts. Also they do love horror movies. So I am currently working on a script for a new movie which I would love to shoot in Thailand next year.
Speaking of movies… Troma Studio did not get back to us. I sent them our film and our behind the scenes book of Spacebirth 2. But on their website they say that they only accept DVDs. So I might give it another shot and send them a DVD instead.
I plan to do a screening of Spacebirth 2 in Berlin in October.
That’s it for now.
Much love,
Marius
