New Beginnings in Visual Storytelling
From writing challenges to visual art adventures in Berlin and beyond.
Dear friends,
I am back in Berlin.
The last three weeks in Bangkok I spent writing the script for my next movie.
And just when I thought that I was finished — I came up with a much more exciting story to write down. So here I am, at the very beginning again. 🤦
Also, the focus in the coming months is on:
- Jump back into visual creation with AI tools 💪
- Preparing for my first visual live show in a planetarium close to Munich with tunnel.visions 🚀
- Starting a project with the uncreative name called Visual AI Mastery. A place which is dedicated to share what I have learned about AI tools like Stable Diffusion or Midjourney.
- Reconsidering the blogging systems which I use (Medium & Substack). They both turn out not to be the best solutions.
- Pushing our web-development studio 100k.
Yesterday we watched a great documentary by Werner Herzog called The Dark Glow of the Mountains (Der Leuchtende Berg).
Herzog follows the mountain-climber Reinhold Messner into climbing the Gasherbrum mountains, which has some of the most difficult peaks to be conquered, and they’ll do it without the use of oxygen tanks.
Then I want to show you this amazing website: Space Elevator by Neal.
It visualised how hight mountains are, how high an airplane flies and how far away the ISS is. Truly fascinating.
