In Search of a Pregnant Ghost

Three days in and I’m already looking for ghosts, graveyards, and very special batteries.

Dear friends,

I am currently sitting on a broken chair in a small camera shop in Bangkok. Waiting for the guy who can sell me this very specific battery for my old analog Canon.

I arrived four days ago and time is flying by. I am here to do the preproduction for me new movie called Ghostbirth 2.

The film is about a pregnant ghost in a massage studio in Bangkok.

My mission:

• Find actors

• Scout for locations (Graveyards, massage studios, good streets)

• Take a lot of photos and videos

• Prepare everything for a test shooting with my DOP Jamie Touche who will join me in end of October

• Find people to collaborate with

• Look around and get inspired

• Finish my script (finally)

Luckily I am again artist in residency at the Cinema Oasis Foundation. 🙏
My room is above the screening room where they show movies which you cannot normally watch in the big, commercial cinemas.

I am also setting up an Instagram account for Ghostbirth 2. There I will share inspiration, news and progress.
