Looking for a house in Bangkok turned out a bit more complicated than expected.
My goal is to find a 4 floor house in which we can build the set for the shooting of Ghostbirth 2.
I made a small drawing so you have an idea:
Basically the complete film will be set in this building.
At the bottom we have the reception and lobby of the massage studio. Upstairs the actual massage rooms, then Elenas room and the flesh room. And on the top I will live with my film-crew.
There are two main websites where I found houses like this. But also to walk around the city at night works. They put a sign with the phone number on the door if the houses is for rent.
Rachel, who is helping me with the production calls them, because I do not speak any Thai.
And we found the perfect house and had an appointment set for Monday. But they cancelled yesterday because they don’t want to rent to a foreigner. That was a bit annoying…
So we are back to zero and continue calling the house owners.
