The Art of Listening: Navigating the Sounds of NTS Radio

I am currently wrapping up some exciting projects, which I can only present once they are completed…

Therefore, I thought I would use this Friday to share some things about music.

One of my long-time creative allies Ran Jaden Cao introduced me to NTS radio.
NTS provides curious minds with a home for music discovery. Built by music lovers, for music lovers.

They always host two live shows the same time. So you can pick the one which you like the most. Additionally they have an archive of all shows which were ever released.

The genres vary from Ambient to Weird Experimental, from Brazilian Bossa to Spiritual Jazz, from Krautrock to Power Pop, from Sahara Blues to Speed Garage, from Classic Hip-Hop to Detroit House.

Basically you find music from every genre. But not just some random music, but the selected golden nuggets…

Also they provide a track-list from every show. I think thats pretty awesome.

It really changed the way I discover new music. Instead of the Spotify algorithm — I let real music lovers pick out what I listen to.

I mentioned my long-time creative ally Ran Jaden Cao before. He runs a creative agency called Hyphen Works which produces amazing work.

Every time we collaborate I learn a lot about how to structure projects, how to present ideas and how to be positive and professional the same time. Thank’s for that!
