Unlocking the Creative Potential of QR Codes: Beyond Black & White
Exploring AI-Generated Visual QR Codes and Beyond

Dear friends 😀
QR Codes! Who would have thought that those things might come back to our lives?
When I saw them first popping up years and years ago I assumed that this is a trend which will disappear soon. Then I heard that people in Japan use it all the time. (We are a bit behind here in Europe). And in the time of Corona, we all used them to scan vaccination tests, restaurant menus etc. They are are integrated into our lives now. A no-brainer.
And now, with AI we can finally step up the game and get rid of the horrible Black&White style and dive into something much more creative.
The image below is a scannable QR code which I generated this morning. (Try it!)

Also the same technique can be used to create other visual work. Instead of QR codes we can use patterns, spirals, circles, animations etc.
This video here is a result of the same technique but with different inputs:
Both results were produced with StableDiffusion and the QR Code Monster model.
Other than that I am:
- Diving more and more into AI
- Learning how to produce video-tutorials which I can publish on the learning platform Udemy
- Enjoying the autumn here in Berlin
Much love & thank you for reading!
